We are pleased to announce installation of our brand new, state-of-the-art printing machine from Koenig & Bauer. This 8 colour, double coater press will allow us to improve the quality of our services and represents a significant increase in the capacity of our Silvassa plant.

This new machine is a significant investment for our company and represents our commitment to providing the best possible service to our customers. TCPL is always looking towards maintaining and growing the business by adopting new technologies and catering to the ever-changing needs of our client base.

In February 2023, at the annual award ceremony of SIES SOP Star Awards 2022 for Excellence in Printing, organised by SIES School of Packaging, TCPL won several awards under Carton and flexible packaging categories for the following cartons :

TCPL recently won an award at IFCA Star Awards 2022, organised by The Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) in September 2022 under Best Branding category for Baba 120 Paan Masala pack. IFCA organises these awards every year to recognise excellence in creativity, design, development, and innovations in packaging

Mumbai, November 03, 2021: TCPL Packaging Limited (TCPL), one of India’s leading producers of sustainable packaging solutions for customers across industries, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of a majority stake in Creative Offset Printers Private Limited (COPPL). The Company has entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire 60% equity stake of COPPL. The completion of the transaction is subject to satisfactory accomplishment of certain conditions precedent.

With this acquisition, TCPL enters into the high potential rigid boxes segment focused on one of the fastest growing smartphone markets in the world. COPPL’s manufacturing facility is strategically located at Noida to target the large upcoming mobile manufacturing hub in India. After becoming the second largest mobile manufacturing country in the world a few years back, India is aiming for the top position with production-linked schemes (PLI) to attract global majors. This augurs well for the high-end rigid box manufacturing sector catering to the mobile industry.

On the occasion of “World Hearth day,” TCPL Foundation is pleased to donate an ECG machine and Heart start Defibrillator to Marcaim Health Centre as a part of its CSR initiative.

Dr. Jalmi of the Health centre not only thanked the Management of TCPL for their contribution, but he also highly appreciated the efforts of TCPL Foundation in saving lives.

Marcaim Health Centre, Goa has also helped Management and Staff including contract workers of TCPL Goa plant to achieve 100% vaccination for which TCPL is very grateful.

We, at TCPL are proud to announce installation of our second state-of-the-art Koenig & Bauer Offset printing machine at our plant at Goa. The machine was inaugurated on 9th September, 2021. This installation will considerably enhance the manufacturing capacity of the plant and also facilitate better servicing to our customers.

As has been a tradition with all our earlier machines, the first job printed on the press was a beautiful poster of Lord Ganesha !!

The devastating second wave of Covid-19 taught us all a lesson in the value of preparedness.

As a part of its CSR initiative and in view of the possibility of a third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, TCPL Foundation donated an amount of Rs.12.75 lacs to Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa to facilitate them to purchase an Adult plus Paediatric ventilator.

The cheque towards donation was handed over to Dr.Darshan Mahyavanshi – Asst Medical Superintendent & Dr. Gargi Mazumdar – Manager Admin of VBCH Silvassa by our unit head at TCPL, Silvassa, Mr.D.Loganathan and GM (HR & Commercial), Mr.Satya Singh on 4th September, 2021. Both the Doctors expressed their gratitude for this gesture of TCPL Foundation.

TCPL Foundation is proud to be a corporate donor to The Inspire Institute of Sport, a cutting-edge environment founded by JSW Group to breed champions in India with an eye on success and podium finishes at the Olympic games.

TCPL Foundation also conveys its heartiest congratulations to the Olympians who have made India proud at the recently held Tokyo Olympics 2021. It is an honour to be associated with ISS who have trained and nurtured India’s first gold medallist at the Tokyo Olympics 2021, Mr. Neeraj Chopra.

Our Management was honoured to be present at and participate in the felicitation of some of our Olympic Heroes, like Neeraj Chopra, P.R.Sreejesh of Indian Hockey fame, Bajrang Punia, Ravikumar Dahiya and more at The Indian Institute of Sport, Vijaynagar on 11th September, 2021.

We, at TCPL are fully committed towards ensuring the good health and safety of our employees. Apart from holding regular vaccinations drives at our factories, we also held two vaccination drivers during the last three months for our employees in Mumbai office and their family members, in association with SBS Hospital, Andheri.

We are proud that 100% of our eligible employees across all locations have received atleast one dose of vaccination as on 20th September, 2021. Thank you to all employees and their family members for making these initiatives a success !!

TCPL’s Goa unit has also been certified with G7 Master facility qualification. G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. G7 Master Qualification demonstrates a facility’s leading capabilities in color management, device alignment, and standardization to serve the global print and packaging supply chains. G7 Master Qualification status indicates that the facility has calibrated certain equipment and systems to G7 gray balance and neutral tone curves and is capable of delivering G7 proofs and print products.

Recently, TCPL’s goa unit has been certified for GMI Standard. GMI stands for Graphic Measure International, which developed industry-wide standards. So, in other words, GMI is a standardized system that brands use to evaluate and assess the quality of a printing job. GMI process dictates industry best-standards for optimizing efficiency and other processes in the printing industry. As a derivative of the ISO standards, the GMI certification comes with respect and authority as ISO’s industry-accepted standards.

TCPL has developed a protective face shield to use against spread of Corona virus. This is designed and developed in house by our team. It is very useful for front line health workers, and public at large. It is very light in weight and easy to carry as can be kept in flat form when not in use.

The face shield was presented to District Magistrate, Haridwar by our Factory Head, Mr.L.K.Vijayavargiya. He has appreciated and liked this and has advised that the same will be used for protection of frontline warriors of Covid-19.

Marico has an annual event called “Samyut” where their vendors are given reward & recognition. In February 2020, TCPL was also recognised and awarded at this event, under category “Opportunity Seeking” for providing sustainability & cost reduction ideas in mono carton category.

Akshay Kanoria of TCPL and Maneesh Sharma of Future Consumer discuss a case study of packaging for Voom washing machine powder and how TCPL and Future Consumer (FCL) came together to create a unique identity for the home care brand. Words Noel D’Cunha and Dinesh Ingawale. Voom Brand has been recently launched by Future Consumer Limited in fabric care detergent category including catering to machine-wash segment.

In January 2020, TCPL received a trophy at the 14th National Awards for Excellence in Printing 2020 organized by All India Federation of Master Printers for Baba Nauratan Pan Masala pack. The pack is a 3 layer structure with registered Soft touch effect on top. The composition of this laminate is Foil/Paper/Foil/ HSL. At the same award function, TCPL also received commendation certificate for Colgate Visible White 100 gm+100 gm pack. The carton is printed on Met Pet laminated board with special registered lens effect to make the carton look different from others. The shiny Gloss UV adds to the glitter. The nature of design and the lens effect adds to the overall aesthetic look of the carton.
